A new mentoring year is here…

You, or a young lady you know, are cordially invited to apply for the 2010-2011 Pearls Mentoring Program. For fours years running, the positive impact to the girls and their parents is undeniable. To date, we have had over 80 young ladies successfully complete the seven-month program, which starts in October and concludes the following April.

The P.E.A.R.L.S. Club, which stands for Positive & Educated Achievers Reaching goals through Leadership and Sisterhood, is a mentoring program designed for young girls in the 7th and 8th grade. The mission of the mentoring program is to promote a sense of self worth, increase financial literacy, improve perspectives toward education, and provide positive support and encouragement.
Please review participant criteria and nominate young ladies who will benefit from this program.
Candidates should:
  • Be currently enrolled in 7th or 8th grade
  • Exhibit promise in the areas of leadership, academic achievement, and/community involvement
  • Be able to attend monthly (1st Saturday of each month) workshops outlined by P.E.A.R.L.S. curriculum
All nominees will be invited to attend a special Kickoff Celebration on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 3:00pm to provide additional details about the program. Chi Chi Omega chapter has designed a program filled with E.S.P.- Exceptional exposure, Service opportunities, and Positive memories for many years to come!
